Congratulations to you, Alex! I also got into U of Chicago. But, I've also applied elsewhere--many elsewheres, to be exact-- so I don't know where I'm going yet. (My college search is like liquid jelly, and is likely to remain so until May.) Hmm, "Elsewhere"...it's kind of reminiscent of The Giver . But, just the thought of having another TASPer getting into the same college is wonderful (Bryan, Jacob, Olga, Susan--I'm sure you guys can all relate).
Some funny things before I go and fill out more applications:
1.) I talked about Satanic Oatmeal in my U of Chicago application
2.) I think I'll end this with the long forsaken labor quote: My philosophy teacher was trying to conduct some sort of discussion on Plato and mathematics yesterday. Out of nowhere comes: "Eunice, you're a math person! I can tell just by looking at you!" If only college assessments of students were that easy...sigh.
