WE MISSED AN EVENT! Sadly, I found this only on Sunday afternoon while working on vaguely taspish projects:

SATURDAY, August 7 (Austin)"Borderlands: Texas Poetry Review," in conjunction with 12th Street Books, presents a Literary Reading at 6:30 p.m. Featured poets are Dorothy Barnett, Jack Brannon, Farid Matuk, Lyman Grant, and D'Arcy Randall. For more information, call 12th Street Books at 512.499.8828.

I think I'm going to email her and demand that she post a poem on the blog, lest the wrath of taspers past & future come down on Austin (possiably in the forms of either Kelsey or Tara).
questions to come....
